A good pre-workout does three things: it wakes you up, it improves blood flow to the muscle, and it delays the burn so you can push one or two more reps. Here is how to get the most from it.
Timing: 20–30 minutes before
Drink Yava Labs Pre-workout in 300–400 ml of cold water about 20–30 minutes before your first working set. Caffeine peaks within an hour, so arriving at the gym already "switched on" is the goal.
What the ingredients do
- Caffeine – focus, alertness and a measurable boost in strength and endurance.
- Citrulline – raises nitric-oxide production for better blood flow and the "pump".
- Beta-alanine – buffers acid in the muscle so you fatigue later. The tingling you may feel is harmless and fades in 20 minutes.
- Creatine – if your formula includes it, it adds power over time; otherwise stack it separately.
Training late? Go non-stim
Caffeine has a half-life of about five hours. If you train after 6 PM and value your sleep, choose Non-Stim Pre-workout: the same pump and endurance ingredients without caffeine.
Start with half a scoop
If you are new to pre-workouts or sensitive to caffeine, start with half a serving to assess tolerance, then move to a full scoop. Skip it on days you have already had several coffees.
Do you need it every session?
No. Many athletes save it for their hardest sessions of the week and keep their caffeine sensitivity intact. A week off every couple of months is a smart habit.
